The Virtual Yacht is a novel interactive configuration system for yachts which is currently being developed by five students from Düsseldorf in Germany. The system comprises a three-dimensional editor mode, which lets the user assemble their future yacht by selecting their favorite from a wide range of components and materials. The changes to the yacht can be seen and evaluated instantly. The interactive and realistic rendering environment of the Virtual Yacht system fires the imagination of your customers.

The project was realised during the year 2010 as a cooperation between the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf and the multimedia company Deutsche Werbewelt Cologne under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Geiger.
